Whats new

This past week my brother Noah came home from serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (www.lds.org) in Puebla Mexico. After two years of not seeing each other it was quite clear that alot has changed in his absence. (He thinks that Sophie looks the most different, Emmaline is in College now... and going to China this month till Christmas ... heaven help that girl and those Chinese kids she about to teach! haha, and well Arland is a big addition to the family as well. When Noah left Heath and I had just announced that we were pregnant! He is now 18 months old! Crazy all the things that change in 2 years!)

All I can say is that I have the most creative sister in laws in the world... how lucky and I?! We all love to get together and do fun things and I am so glad that we are as close as we are. My sister in laws called me one day and told me that they were going dumpster diving to get these booth benches from a local restaurant. They wanted to know if I wanted some to fix up and reupholster with them. YES!! So this is the end result and I love them! Thanks Whit and Chels for a fun time!

Arland loves playing with kids, any kids for that matter and these are some of our good friends playing with Arland. He looks so grown up sitting with these boys!

At the end of the day he still likes a bottle of Gatorade and his cowboy woody!

BEACH TRIP!

Hello VACATION!

Flights are booked and we are ready for a break!

We are going with my family to Carlsbad California (one of our favorite vacation places...beach...sun...sand...and fish tacos!)

We are also taking the ferry over to Catalina Island for 2 days! Woo Hoo We are so excited!

Our Dog Pazely

We had a very exciting night last night (not including the fact that arland was up ALOT last night...little stinker). Around 2-3 am. we woke up hearing Pazely barking and growing really loud outside. She was so loud that Heath went out to see what was going on and he said that her hair was sticking straight up and that she couldnt stop growling. She kept chasing towards the fence growing like she was chasing someone. We still dont know if someone was trying to break onto our property but it is comforting to know that we have such a GREAT guard dog. Growing up I hated hearing dogs bark when you would walk up to a house but I am so thankful that Pazely is such a soft friendly gentle dog, but also she can be a ferocious protector. Who couldn't love this face!

On Sunday we were able to spend time with Heaths family and of course we got to give baby Flynn some lovin!

Arland is loving this summer. Popsicles. swimming. running with Paze in the backyard. and learning to ride his new little tricycle.

FRIDAY!

Arland and I were able to go to dinner with Grandma Pulham and all of the Aunts! We had so much fun eating and chatting about baby Flynn and all the fun things that have been going on. Arland loves ice and straws so he was pretty content. Here are some fun pictures of our time together.

Fun Week in Review

Arland got a new bike this week! He loves it and is still trying to grasp that if you turn the peddles the bike will go...other than that he LOVES to sit on the seat. (Thanks joel and christine!)

This week we also had the "Lehi Rodeo Roundup!"

We had a blast, breakfast at the park, parade, lunch at Macaroni Grill for Aunti Emms birthday (YUM!), and the Rodeo that night. It was a really fun day and Arland was a champ throughout the day (no nap). This is Arland and Daddy looking at the Animals in the park.

This week we were able to go to Park City with the Neubert family and boy did we have a blast. swimming.shopping.parades.downton abbey (if you haven't seen it, you better!) It was so stinking hot the entire time so this is about all Arland wanted....Popsicles! And no he doesn't like to share them.

The handsome guy is my dad, emmaline thought it would be fun to put her extensions in his hair....so stinkin funny!

And this guy gets home THIS month! Woo Hoo!

Life

These past few weeks have been so fun, crazy and busy! Arland just got over being sick for two weeks, first week was the croup, second week was a virus that he picked up while his immune system was week with the croup! Holy Cow the poor kid needs a break from being sick. All he wanted to do was sit in mommies bed and drink powerade with orange juice, and animal crackers. He is skinny already and I swear him being sick did not help our efforts in helping Arland gain weight. He was down in his weight from when he was 15 months! He is now 17 months! I cant believe how fast he is growing and changing. The biggest change this month is that Arland is now WALKING! woo hoo! It was the funniest thing because Heath and I decided to work with him one day and he didnt just take 2 or 3 steps he full on walked from the living room into the kitchen and has loved the freedom of walking now! We have loved watching him explore. Some of his favorite things this month are: WALKING, playing the paino with aunt Sophie (he squeels everytime she plays), TRUCKS! holy cow this boy loves his trucks (especially his truck right now that makes noise when it goes and it actually drives when you push the button, Otter Pops, lolipops, swimming (water in general), Pazely (Big Dogs) our little puppies scare him (Paze had 9 puppies a couple weeks ago! Arland is having a hard time sleeping in his bed right now because he has been sick so that means that he gets to sleep with Heath and I (I know bad idea) But that is what we have been up to lately!

This week was also SO exciting because Arland gained another cousin! Flynn was born last week and he is one of the most beautiful babies ever! Seriously I am not biased at all, but do you see what I mean?! I am one lucky aunt!

Arland and I went swimming last week and what is a day at the pool if you dont have lollipops and cookies!

Arland's 15 month stats!

Well not much has gone on lately at the Pulham house. We are just enjoying the fun weather and playing outside. Arland had his 15 month appt a couple weeks ago and let me tell you the kids stats didnt change much. He is still skinny and tall! Arland is:

Arland, These past couple months you have changed so much in the things that you eat, (anything with cheese! STRAWBERRIES are your favorite! Peanut Butter sandwiches, peas, corn, black beans, and you love popsicles right now!)

The things that you say are histaricle! (mama, DADA! (you shout his name all the time), Go. You also make animal noises, baaa for lamb, mooo for cow and elephant and every other animal haha, grrr for bear, and you LOVE trucks and make a noise for them too. You love to be outside with Pazely in the backyard. Mommy will put the sprinkler together so that you can play in the water in the back yard, you love the water and you love to sit on your little fourwheeler with the hose in your hand and spray Paze as she walks past.

You are not sleeping the best these days and daddy is a little tired of sharing the bed with you. I think that it is because your room is so hot and mommy and daddys room is a little cooler. You also have 8 teeth with a molar on the bottom and one coming in on top!

You are walking with holding one hand right now, you are SO close to walking all by your self! I think that you may have fallen some where along the way which made you scared to walk now but you are getting more brave every day!

You love to play with your trucks and dinasaurs (true boy) and you love to watch the Lion King and Rio is your ultimate favorite!) We love you arland and we are so happy that we get to enjoy you in our life everyday!
